Biography
Hailing from Penrith but living in Wagga Wagga, Craig Knowles supports his association of birth and returns each year to pull on the Nepean colours at the state championships. Hockey is in the family genes, with his younger brother having represented NSW in the Over 35's and his sister having pulled on the green and gold at a Masters Hockey World Cup.
Craig has been a member of the NSW 40/2's (known affectionately as the Waratahs) since 2017 and has captained the team with distinction since 2019.
A midfielder with high levels of fitness and skill, "Knowlsey" leads by example with his passion and skill evident whenever he pulls on the sky blue singlet. His efforts on the field and preparation off the field epitomise the phrase "team man".
