Veteran elected President of Hockey Australia

0 of 5 - 0 votes

Congratulations to Stuart Grimshaw, a member of the Sydney University Veteran's "A' team, on his election as President of Hockey Australia.  Stuart's hockey career includes playing repesentative grade hockey for Auckland and Wellington, and culminated in him representing New Zealand at the Olympic Games.

His new role at Hockey Australia will be a challenge. Hockey may be the world's second most popular team sport, but its administration in Australia has never reached great heights. We believe that Stuart will be able to draw on his extensive background in managing major businesses in Australia and overseas to strengthen the sports position in Australia, as he also brings with him extensive experience in professional sports management.

Good luck Stuart!
